When the soft phone was released, it worked extremely well with the version of Java that was out at the time. unfortunately, we do not have access to future releases for advance training.
We have been working on an update but there are other issues that come when trying to develop (other things that may be found that need to be re-written, then that change can affect something, and then the next domino falls)
With new versions coming out so often, it very hard to be able to keep up with them as each release can brings it's own issue.
We are indeed working on it to get it working. It may not be perfect, but there are work arounds in the mean time for this completely free service.
