Hi, from last 04 days i am having problem that shows me "Can't connect to login server"
I already reset the ATA, checked all my settings but do not know.
May be this is from FPL Side,

I'll presume your ATA is behind a router? If so, have you tried the ATA connected directly to the modem? Assuming it's an unbridged modem providing DHCP.

Do you have any port forwarding setup in the router for the ATA?

The Bell 2wire modem is actually a modem, a router and a wireless access point all packaged together into one single box. You will need to use either port forwarding (i know the 2-wire can do it because I've done it, but I don't remember exactly how), or use some automated configuration such as STUN, if available in your 2wire modem-router and in your ATA device.

However this shouldn't influence your problem of not connecting to the server. What ATA model is this?

Hi guys, I'm the lucky follower of this one with the same number that had porting issues. Funny story is - _same_ PAP , but old number - works fine.
Please help. I need my phone close to 24x7.

The only way I managed to get my PAP2T to stay connected behind my Bell 2Wire modem was to change the registration time right down. I started with it @ 60 seconds and slowly changed things and found that I could make it up to 300 seconds. Any number over that and it would loose connection after a while.

The other problem I had like this was when I first got my PAP2T and config file. I would occasionally turn on the soft phone, or also connect a x-lite soft phone, while I was playing around. This would mess up the registration also as you can only have one device connected at a time.

Hi,
I have tried everything, i did forward ports, use DMZplus mode, change register time! nothing works., also changed the line 1 to line 2.
it does register when i open the web of my pap2-na and save settings (it means it resets right?) or if unplug and plug back the pap2-na.

i was thinking may be this is my unit not good anymore, but my other ACANAC line is working fine on either line 1 or 2, with or without port forwarding.

please help.

Thanks

I also started to experience the same problems too for the last 4 days. The problem seems to be intermittent... I have a PAP2T. For no reason, the ATA can't seem to register... Everything was working fine before.. nothing has changed in terms of settings... I doubt it's the ATA as it is only 2 months old.
