rogers wireless modem
just wondering if anyone is using this with a PAP2. thinking of switching to this, but want to get some feedback before I do. My issue is I don't want to use a router so I'm not sure if I can plug the ATA directly into the modem and use my laptop too without messing up the ATA?

Re: rogers wireless modem
Do you mean the Rogers Rocket Hub? I have experience with their Netcomm 3G10WVR router. If this is what you are considering let me know and I can pass on some feedback.

Be avised that voice over IP, when used on the 3G cellular data networks, has a spotty track record. Some people can make good phone calls, other have terrible sound quality issues with lag, cuts, pauses and whatnot.
I have done many tests over 3G and it's like flipping a coin. On certain days it works great, on other I can barely get two syllables out.
