I have 2 issues:
1. FPL outgoing calls - caller ID not shown on the receiver's phone
2. Voicemail to my FPL phone - New voicemail notification on my phone's screen is no longer shown... VM to email works fine.
I have an SPA-3102.
Worked fine until recently.
Any advice?
TIA

Re: Caller ID issue (outgoing calls and voicemail)
I am having the same problem. Everyone I call (via pap2) gets an Out of Area for caller id.
This worked fine until last week.

Re: Caller ID issue (outgoing calls and voicemail)
Still no resolution on this issue.
The first month or so I used the PAP2 with Freephoneline.ca CallerID worked OK.. as in people I called would see who was calling.
About the time of the last upgrade this changed and what they see is "OUT OF AREA".
I can now provide a bit more information. In some cases the Caller ID is getting sent correctly. To summarize:
1. local calls to Telus landline area code 604 - OUT OF AREA
2. local calls to local cell area code 604 - works
3. calls to another SIP phone (Gizmo) - works
The configuration of the PAP2 did not change from when it was working correctly for landline calls and now.
Update...
Tried the softphone application today. Same issues. Connections to cell phone get correct Caller ID. Connections to Telus landline get OUT OF AREA.

Re: Caller ID issue (outgoing calls and voicemail)
Have you tried calling Telus? We had a similar issue with Rogers Wireless in Toronto about 8 months ago - a few customers called and complained and things *magically* started working again.
Since you're seeing the caller-ID fine when calling other phones that aren't Telus landlines, that shows that we are sending out your caller-ID just fine from our end. If it's Telus' end, they should be able to fix it. If it's another carrier somewhere between us and Telus, then we'd have to hope that they find their problem soon and fix it.
