When I try to call my new number I get the person you are trying to reach is unavailable, please leave a message.

Why isn't it forwarding to my number that I set up?

Ok, I think I got her half figured out. I forwarded my fpl # to a friends phone in Calgary and it worked.

So, am I not able to forward my fpl # to a city that is not in the free calling list? Do I have to pay for that?

Correct - since these calls cost us money, a voucher will be needed to forward to any cities that aren't in the free calling list.
