Service Issues Today? Thurs Jan 13, 2011

Post by Madwand »

This is now the 2nd time this week that I cannot make outgoing calls. I've logged in and it says that the ATA is not connected.

I have two accounts, and both are not working, and they have been working for several months.

Both of my other connections are working fine... Primus & Voip.ms.

Please advise freephoneline.ca... Steve?

Just to note that budphone was working from my cell, and incoming calls are not working.

Madwand, please note there have been no notable service interruptions that you (users) would have noticed since late October; during the period you made this post and shortly after my phone's logs (Polycom SoundPoint 550) show that it was registered and pinging back and forth with voip.freephoneline.ca for registration. This isn't to say that you're without a point, your phones may indeed have been down as you said they were, however, you also mentioned you could not make outgoing calls, does this mean incoming was working?

Strange thing is about 20 minutes before that one of the fpl lines kept ringing and ringing and my manual answering machine kicked in after about 10 rings. The FMFM feature did not enable and forward to my partner's cell phone #.

I took this as strange... but didn't worry about it.

I did note that my ipod touch could make calls using fpl.

I rebooted my router and after ten minutes later everything was back to normal. I'm not sure if it was the router or fpl, or both.

I'm glad it's working now. I'll report any further issues if they arise.

You mentioned in your first post that you have two accounts. Are you are using one account on your IP Touch and one for your ATA? or are you using one account for both your touch and ATA? Also, what is your registration time set at on your ATA?
