Sip Iphone... Please Help

Hey guys I just signed up here and wanted some help with my question, I have iphone 4 and I spoke to freeline and they told me I need a sip program if I wanted to change my caller id. Can someone help me out with this thank you.

I believe there might be some confusion between Caller-ID and CNAM (caller name). Do you want to change the number you are sending out (Caller-ID) or the name (CNAM)?

To change the CNAM you'll first need to buy our SIP Settings which are $50
After that, you can program your SIP device/software with those settings. Any caller name you put in the caller name field of the device/software will be what is sent out.

Keep in mind that VOIP to PSTN/Mobile calls don't always pass CNAM, but will always pass caller-ID. VOIP to VOIP calls will always pass both.

Unfortunately we don't allow that through freephoneline as it would open a huge doorway for abuse and illegal activities.
