Come on guys, 30 secs ring time (4 rings) is not even enough to find the phone, leave alone answer it - then it goes straight to voicemail.
Others have been requesting this - if vbuzzer can give us more ring time, surely FPL can do it.
Thanks
increase the 30 sec max ring time

It is not a case of our inability to do this, of course we can. The reason is simply that a call to our voicemail is a call into our network, and money into our pockets to expand the service with new features and areas.Xancholy wrote:Others have been requesting this - if vbuzzer can give us more ring time, surely FPL can do it.

You should think about offering an 'enhanced' version of FPL for a fee to users. Although the call to the answerphone is making you money, I recon you could get more by offering a packed where we could upgrade our free account to an enhanced version, for say $10 - $30 a year.admin wrote:It is not a case of our inability to do this, of course we can. Things that the upgraded version could include are -
The ability to forward to another FPL number.
Accept SIP calls.
Extended ring times.
Multi device registration.
Ring all devices at once.
I would certainly pay for additional services like this, and I am sure many others would. You must be able to come up with a number where you make more by charging many for a package than what the calls going to answerphone make those people.

With the exception of multi-device registration (where it is just an 'I wish' right now) these are all planned on for a Premium package offering; unfortunately for which I have no other information other than 'It's a premium package that have the option of paying for'.Jake wrote:Things that the upgraded version could include are -

What do you mean by "accept SIP calls"? Does that mean I cannot receive calls from any VoIP services?Jake wrote:

Maybe it was not the right term to use, but I mean to be able to accept calls via 1613xxxxxxx@freephoneline.caAmowagou wrote:What do you mean by "accept SIP calls"? Does that mean I cannot receive calls from any VoIP services?Jake wrote:

You can receive calls from other voip services, but only to your phone number 1613xxxxxxx. So the fact it is a voip service is pretty moot.
