Re: Terrible please help
Hate to break it to you, but your gear sucks, not freephoneline. At least in this instance. Try a decent headset, and your problems will go away.
To be a little more technical, you are getting feedback from your microphone.

A few things here:
1) What software are you referring to, the free software directly from Freephoneline? Mute the mic on your computer, leaving the "record" setting unmuted.
2) If other, try playing around with your device settings. I've seen a lot of "echo cancelling" settings in a variety of VoIP equipment and software.
3) Please use punctuation... tying everything in one line is really confusing especially if you're talking about different things the iphone for example is a separate question and then you talk about other stuff so as you can see it's hard to read we might be answering a different question than what your actually asking okay point made
4) Checkout Budphone for the iPhone and/or buy the config file, it's worth it.
5) There are a lot of companies out there that make products, both good and bad and most are improved over time... there are no problems we have with Freephoneline so it's likely a problem on your end.
