Nope. They rely on the $50 to keep freephoneline monthly fees free. It's not much to pay for a free number, sip settings, and the ability of using the number on multiple sip-enabled devices (albeit, not simultaneously). If you want the 100% completely free portion of FPL, use the FPL application.TubbyToffee wrote:i want to use Sip for my iSip app but i have to pay 50$cant we get free sip so i can use it on the itouch
If you're wanting just callout sip settings, you can use another voip provider (PM me) and for about $17 CAD, you get 4 months of 300minutes/week, and then anywhere in NA for 2 cents euro (like 3 cents cad) thereafter until your balance is depleated. If you want call in and call out, pay FPL the $50 +HST and get your settings

You should compare FPL with OverDrive' plan before making a decision.
OverDrive's plan: 4 months for $17,00 (300 min./week then 2¢/min.) outbound only. So for a full year it'll be $51,00.
FPL: $50,00 unlimited inbound outbound for life
Hopefully you will go with fpl. It's those $50,00 to them that are keeping them alive and expanding and relieves daring Canadians to save $600,00 per year on a necessary service.

I admit I thought the $50 config fee was steep, but when I realized what I had to pay in total it was a no brainer.
