Incoming Name and Number Display

When I receive a call on my phone I only get a Number display and no name, Is this proper or is there a setting in my ata to change?
Should I see a name and number or just a number?

Only the number will show. It has something to do with the kind of calling display is used with FPL (CNAM).

So everything is working perfectly at your end. Nothing to worry about.

Names can show too but not all the time... sometimes I see names and sometimes I don't. It depends on where they're calling from and the links in between. Don't worry about it, it's just a bonus if the name every shows up.

FPL does not query CNAM. In Canada caller ID name is sent with the call. So if you get a call from a canadian landline or rogers cell phone, caller ID name will usually show.
