*98...This call is not covered by your tarriff

Post by pitcritter »

I'm a new user and the service seems to be working fine with a couple of small hiccups. I cannot access my voicemail via *98. When I try to access it via a local access number, it seems I'm using the wrong password.

Also, in my call log, it seems that I've been charged $0.04 (OK, almost nothing) to call the local access number in Niagara Falls (I live in Niagara Falls)

Any help?

Not resolved. My issue is a little different than the one you referred me to. I can make and receive calls, but I can't get to my vmail with *98.

Probably related...I'll wait.

Suggestion? Check the dialplan within your Polycom phone and see if *98 is being manipulated to another number. Check the FPL Call Logs to see what number is actually being dialed.

hxgee, might I ask what model of Polycom you are using?

Oops! Not sure how I missed that as I'm the one who created that section... :)

hxgee, please see http://forum.freephoneline.ca/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1790 for configuration help; this has been tested in the office with both Polycom 550's, and 330's. I believe the only difference between the 330 and 335 is the GigE LAN port.
