PROBLEM, LINE ALWAYS BUSY

Hi!
I am experiencing some problems this week.
I don't know where does the problem comes from.
Is it my ATA or my Modem.
I have a ATA and a Speedtouch 516V6 modem.
Many times this week, the Internet light on the modem turns off and don't Auto-reconnect.
Today, its different, the light is open but when someone calls me, it rings engaged.

My ATA is plugges directly into the modem, i really don't know what to do.

Is it the modem that is causing the problems or the ATA, thats really weird...

Please provide a little more detailed information for us to fully understand this;

1) Are you using our DSL internet service, or are you with another provider?
2) What model of ATA are you using? Is it purchased from us, or third party?
3) Is your modem bridged with the ATA doing PPPoE, or is the ATA NAT'd behind the modem which does PPPoE?

Hi!
I am using DSL internet with a other company.
I call them this morning, they told me that their service hasn't problems.
I have checked with other people with RadioActif Internet, and they didn't have problem.

I am using a Linksys SPA2102 that is plugged directly into the modem (the modem is on PPoE).

For mor information, yesterday, someone called me, i answer the phone, and the line stops, and after that the light on the modem closes.
I now really think that the problem is coming from the ATA.

Before last weekend everything was working fine and now, it starts.
This is how was my network before last weekend: Modem, the router is plugged in the modem, and the ATA is plugged into the router.
This week, i have changed the network, now its: Modem, ATA is plugged in the router, and the router is plugged into the ATA.

I really don't know what is the problem.

When i will be home, i am going to set my network as before to see if it will stay the same or be good.

I am sorry for my poor english.

Unfortunately, the problem is always the same.
The Internet light of the modem closes.

I really don't know where does the problem comes from.
Is it from the ATA that makes a bug into the modem.
Or simply a defective modem?

now its: Modem, ATA is plugged in the router, and the router is plugged into the ATA.

Umm....how is that going to work? Nothing is connected into the modem??

Saturday night i have made a complete reset of all of my devices, ATA, Modem and router.
Yesterday, sunday, the modem light never closed.
Today, until now, nothing is wrong.

Hope that the problem is resolved now.
