Sound data transfer: NONE

Post by leeloo »

Hello,

I've installed the softphone application on my computer (Windows 7 64,) configured forwarding in the router (Linksys with Tomato,) made sure that all required UDP ports are accessible from outside, but cannot get the second test (Sound data transfer) working. I looked at packets in Wireshark, and the only suspicious entries I can see are ICMP errors "Destination unreachable (Host administrativerly prohoibited) for source 192.168.1.137 (my computer on the internal network,) and the destination host 74.205.217.146 (port 12345: italk.) Is this related to the sound problems somehow? In any case, I can call outside number fine (the phone is ringing,) but no sound is present... Please help.

I attach the screenshot from the test dialog - it does not progress past this stage, and my router configuration. Please help.

What type of firewall are you running? Any anti-virus / firewall software?.

I'm using built-in Windows 7 firewall, but the same problem occurs when I turn off the firewall completely. I'm using Avira AntiVir Personal and turning off AntiVir Guard made no difference.
