After a bit of thinking what would be best I choses for them to dial MOM on the phone, which would then call her mobile. As I was putting it in the dial plan I realised what I had done. Now the kids dial 666 for Mom

Setting up a speed dial
While I was messing around with my PBX today I decided to put in a speedial for the kids to dial my wife's mobile.
After a bit of thinking what would be best I choses for them to dial MOM on the phone, which would then call her mobile. As I was putting it in the dial plan I realised what I had done. Now the kids dial 666 for Mom
It took me quite a while to stop chuckling to myself as I hit the save button

That is really funny Jake.
If the clown doesn't laugh it's really not funny.

You're quite the devilish one aren't you! lol
That's absolutely hilarious though and a nice find. I suppose you could always spell it "MUM" for 686 or something if you wanted to get around it!

Funny you should say that, as I am from the UK so normally I would spell it Mum. I still don't completely agree with the way some words are used over here, but when in Rome... Football is one I don't think I will conform to though. I just can't make myself call it soccer no matter how hard I try, or how many beers I drink while watching itIce wrote:You're quite the devilish one aren't you! lol

I left the speed dial as it is, it makes me smile, and it is easier for the kids to remember.
