Hi,
I just got the configuration file for FPL about 2 weeks ago. I'm using it with a Linksys PAP2T-NA and when I first set it up I was able to make calls without any problems. There were some server issues in the past week and they sound like they're fixed now but since then I've found that whoever I call cannot hear my voice. I hear them with no problems however it seems they may be able to catch the first few seconds of what I say, after which my voice breaks up.
I have forwarded UDP ports 5060 and 5061 in my router as well as in windows firewall.
I upgraded the firmware on the ATA unit to the latest firmware (5.1.6)
I set up my ATA according to the new guide that was posted (Really appreciated that!)
The calls start out where my voice is heard, and then slowly breaks up until there is only silence. Is there anything that I missed?
Jon

Re: People I call can't hear my voice
I experience a similar problem fairly often - when I call people, I can hear them clearly and normally, yet they are not receiving my voice AT ALL.
This does not happen every time but for a while was very frequent, then it stopped for a matter of a few weeks, but since Thursday, this problem has resurfaced and happened on 7 calls I placed to various numbers, some cell phones, some home phones.
If I call back on the other line I have with another VoIP provider, it works perfectly each time.
I am using a Linksys SPA1001 and have read through every article that seemed to apply here on the forums.
Could you advise as to what may be the culprit?
Thanks!
P.S. In general, this service is ABSOLUTELY worth the config charge (I couldn't use the softphone as it wasn't for the Mac when I signed up) - you guys are great!

Re: People I call can't hear my voice
Hey,
I totally agree that the service is worth the price of the config file! Just wanna figure out what's going on...i.e. whether it's a problem with my settings/config or if it's something on FPL's end.
Most recently I've been able to get in a few words at the beginning of the call but after about 30 seconds it fades to silence.
Please help!
