Hi,
I have been using the freephone service for a while without any issue. Few days a go people started telling me that they can't hear me clearly or can't hear me at all. I use Spa-2012 and i did not change anything to cause this problem.
I hope someone can help,
Thank you

Re: ongoing calls
As you use an ATA, have you tried a different phone? or if you use several phones maybe it is one of them that is causing problems.
Have you tried calling yourself and seeing (hearing) how clearly your line is? I assume, as you did not mention it, that you can hear them perfectly. There are some gain settings you can play around with, but I would check the phone and do a test call first as you have not changed anything.

You could also try using the softphone software too just to test the call volume.
Why can't they hear you - muffled, volume, etc? What happens when you call yourself (cell phone)?

Thank you guys for your replies. there is nothing wrong with the phone. But I tried different phone and i had the same problem. people on the other end say my voice keeps breaking up. Now, the sound quality got better when I changed the Preferred Codec G729a to G711u . Does this make sense?

Perhaps you could try moving the account over to Line 2 and using the other phone port on your SPA2102?
