STUN and FPL

Post by zoro »

Hi there,

Quick question; Do I need STUN enabled for my PAP2 to work with FPL? Does FPL support STUN feature?

Thanks,

Z

If you do not have a properly configured NAT, STUN is of no real use. Better results are to be got from freephoneline's proxy server. You can use STUN with freephoneline.ca, but I would not use it with the proxy.

Our proxy server is voip.freephoneline.ca, and you would use this to configure your device to use our network after purchasing a SIP configuration file. Generally the incoming proxy server. Personally, I seldom proxy outgoing connections and it works fine.
