Long Delay for Message Waiting Light to Turn Off

It seems to take about 20 to 25 minutes for the message waiting light to turn off on my Linksys SPA942 after I delete voicemail. I had the exact same problem with my Thomson ST2030. My reg expiry times are all set to 100. I have another voip provider that when I delete voicemail the light turns off within a few seconds. Any thoughts here?

freephoneline.ca uses what I guess you could call a cycling message waiting system. This means from the time you sign up, every 10 minutes our voice mail system is cycling through all accounts and signaling the devices that require MWI to be turned off or on, this just so happens to take 10 minutes.
