I'm having issues making long distance calls in Canada. I've tried numerous area codes including 519, 807, and 416 and some numbers work fine while others will not connect. I hear a dial tone, dial the number, and it just sits there in complete silence (no ringing, no one picks up). The people I call report that the phone rings sometimes, but they cannot hear anything. This problem seems to be intermittent - it was working last night just fine and today it is not.
Currently I am using Tomato on an Asus RTN16 router. I have assigned a static IP to my ATA (Grandstream Handytone 286 provided by FPL) and setup port forwarding. Thinking that it was a port forwarding issue, I just went ahead and created a DMZ for that IP. Still no luck.
Tested it out on the FPL softphone and I have the same problem.

Re: Issues making long distance calls
I should mention that local calls work fine.

Re: Issues making long distance calls
If you could make a few fresh calls where you can duplicate this and then send me the details of each call I can take a look into some logs on our end.
