From Bell to VOIP and switching to dry loop in same time

Post by akbg »

I wonder the best way to switch my dsl service to dry loop and porting the existing number to voip (FreePhoneLine.com) in same time?
Right now, i have Bell land line and dsl from another ISP

If I port my number first, am I loosing my dsl line?
Or, if I order dry loop, am I loosing my phone number...

What is the best way to do that? I don't wont to stay without internet . :?: ..

If you port your number over, you do lose your dsl line because the dial tone goes away. A dry loop does not always replace your current phone number because you can have up to two phone lines in your home. When we install dry loops on peoples properties, it is a secondary line that uses the dry loop. If you want to port your phone number over to Freephoneline, you do have to remain in good standing and cannot cancel with your current provider until we have successfully transferred the phone number over. I hope that this helps.
