SIP Status-disconected
I'm new here, and just received my phone# and login etc. When I go to setup my Sip settings, I see that my Sip Status is-disconected. What's up?

Re: SIP Status-disconected
My first guess would be that you have entered some setting wrong. I know this might sound a silly question, but you have bought the Config file right? I bet I was the only one that tried to use the settings I got with the free account in a SIP client.
What I would try next is to download a softphone and try the settings in that. I always use the 3CX one, just because I am familiar with it - http://www.3cx.com/VOIP/softphone.html
There are others though, just Google free softphones.
Make sure you can get it working on that first, then go through your settings in the ATA.
It could be your router not playing ball, but as far as I know it should at least connect to the server. Not being able to make calls properly would be a sign of router problems.
