HI,

My phone suddenly had strange dial tone issue today, When I pick up my phone, I heard 5-6 continuously busy tones, then normal dial tone, It was OK before today. I have deleted all the voice mails, but the issue still occurs.

I wonder if your ATA(?) never got the message from FPL that your messages has been cleared.
There is an option to reset this from your vmail account iirc.

Somebody else may have a better suggestion for you! :)

Sometimes it takes 10-20 minutes for the ATA to realise there are no messaged waiting. Are you still experiencing this? I like to power cycle my ATA when i check my messages (but then again, I don't get voicemail all that often)
