a bad and a good support

HI,

Here is my story, I bought config file from freephoneline yesterday, and used the settings found in the PDF on the FPL forums to config my PAP2T, portforwardings were setup properly in my Linksys WRT54GL router that flashed with tomato v1.28 , I can make calls without any problem, but I can not receive any call, No rings, all the calls went to my voice mail. so I called the support last night for help, without any investigation, the gentleman told me that I need to contact rogers for this, said that its the rogers that blocked the 5060 ports, not a professional answer and support, so of course, my problem still didn't get solved.

Today, this morning, I called support again, now this time, another gentleman immediately knew what I was talking about, then my problem solved within 1 minutes. Its the 'ring before voice mail' was set to 0/1, after changing it to 3, I got all incoming calls. a very professional support.

Here brings another problem, I guess its a bug in the freephoneline system, the 'ring before voice mail' was set to 1 in the system that only freephoneline guys can see, while in my account on the web page, it displayed 3 by default, so I will have to click the update button to make it become real 3 in its system.

Well WilliamY I am glad that you were able to get the good support that you were asking for. I am going to pass this information along to document your complaint, or rather, lack of good service. If you would like to PM me your account information, we can figure out who it was that provided you with the bad support that you speak of and go from there. THANK YOU!!! I have had only sporadic attempts to try to fix this straight to voicemail problem and this easily solved it. Just took away a huge headache from me. Cheers!
