Voice mail messages deleted automatically

Is it a problem or is it just normal that messages in the voice mailbox get deleted automatically.

I kept 8 messages in my voice mailbox and when I went to hear them yesterday there were on 3 left. This morning it was down to 2. Some were even archived (pressing the #9).

So is there a bug in the voice mailbox or is it just normal messages, archived or not get deleted automatically after a certain number of days? If its normal then how many days does the system keeps them stored?

Hi, this is quite normal. You may be hearing an automated message every time you check your voicemail letting you know that any messages will be deleted after 10 days. This includes saved messages.
