To say that the FPL software has issues and is buggy is like saying that two feet of snow makes driving a "little" more challenging ... It really is a shame that the software turns so many people off before they have a decent chance to get hooked on this service. I tolerate the software (barely) and find the overall service worthwhile ... in my current budgetary state, the cost is definitely a driving and determining factor, but that aside, the service is pretty good (when the damn client software can make use of it!)Hellmuth wrote:Yeah there can be issues with the FPL software phone. You can try reinstalling Java on Vista but a free SIP software program which works well is XLite. You would need the SIP settings to use it though. The Grandstream 286 works awesome, not as big of a fan of the 3102.
