Did I get them all?
Jake, if you stumble across this, does it match up with your list?

Re: BC-Vancouver metro area (604/778) tariff errors
No current rush on it -- I believe there are other tariff issues on the run at the time.FPL-steve wrote:Leave this with me - thanks
The more troubling thing in an overall sense is that some of these are the same culprits from many moons ago. So if the new system that is in place to automate the tariff is only parsing NEW information, then something ELSE needs to be put in place to go and deal with the HISTORIC errors too.
Not trying to complicate things or reinvent the wheel.
Maybe the new and pending changes will address this issue and make it moot??

manually plugged
I plugged these thru the manual ratechecker again, and a few are now at $0.00 (604-445, 446, 497, 778-368) ... the rest still seem to be incorrect.
As a sidenote, the "SHOW COMPLETE" list for Canada rates the above 3 as $0.02 still, even though the ratechecker shows them FREE.
Steve, now that you are back, care to weigh in on this? How often is the COMPLETE list updated against the "Place" where the ratechecker gets it's information??

Re: Did I get them all?
It was mentioned in another thread that there had been a big BC update. It seems so, mainly on the 778 and 604 numbers. 438 and 514 also seems to have been cleaned up a fair bit.TheHardy wrote:Jake, if you stumble across this, does it match up with your list?
I recon there are still 373 npa-npx that need looking at as they should be free but are not. http://jasv.ca/fpl/notFree.php is my list.
I've not put this list up to nag at FPL, I can call all the areas I need to for free, it is just mainly to help others who are keeping track. This is based of a list of areas I think should be free, and not considered anything official.
There is also some 1380 odd npa-npx numbers that were listed up as free, when they shouldn't be (again calculated against my list). So overall the ones that we can call for free instead of being charged outweigh the ones we can't call but should be able to by a long way.

Re: Did I get them all?
Thanks for that Jake! I have not had the time to hand-bomb thru the ratechecker -- it seems that the "show complete" list is not updated very often at all -- a lot of the corrections that Steve said were made (and I verified with the individual rate look up tool) are NOT reflected in the "complete list".Jake wrote:It was mentioned in another thread that there had been a big BC update. I think that at times, the nagging is needed though, as I know things slip thru the cracks. While Steve does a yeoman's job (far and above what his title probably is!), it is hard for him to get them all -- and as I have said before, realistically, there should be a dedicated tariff/routes&rating department that should SO be on top of this, as well as any new ratecentres/exchanges etc).
At this moment, probably in another thread (I lose track!), I have the ongoing discussion about the HALIFAX LCA, and Steve has said that it is ONLY supposed to be HALIFAX itself and NOT it's associated LCA (odd, as this contradicts Kris's earlier posting about FPL observing traditional wireline LCAs). I too have noticed a few "new" undocumented additions (PM'd you as well I think) and I believe that will be part of the pending announcement when FonGo goes live and with some other bells and whistles thrown in. I've (politely, I think!) asked Steve to get us some clarification from whomever it is that determines LCA's, especially with the Halifax and Winnipeg issues -- hopefully it gets fired upstream and we can get some hard and fast rules on this.
