I am running a Grandstream HT286 ATA. Codec setting is set at G729. There is an optional setting of G729A or G729A/B. Anyone knows why the differences.
Thanks,
Pierre

Re: HT286 Optional Codec
G729 is a commercial codec that requires a license fee (paid by the ATA supplier or voip provider etc). It is a highly compressed codec that normally gives good voice quality.
Here is some info about G729 a,b versions.
