Iphone incoming call notifications

Post by FONGO_mike »

Go into IPHONE settings click on Notifications than seelct Dell voice turn it to On

You will also want ot make sure that your are not closing the app. If you exit the app it will register as not being able to accept calls and will go to your voice mail or follow me number if you have it set up.

there is something annoying about the iphone
after I swipe the bar at the bottom to answer, it ask for my passcode to unlock the phone before I can take the call...
I hope I can answer like the regular phone app on the iPhone, but maybe it's iOS who doesn't allow it

I have also noticed that even when the iPhone is unlocked and the Dell Voice app is in the background, a notification will come up at the top of the screen that a call is coming, but it only stays there for a couple of seconds and then disappears before I have a chance to press it and miss the call.

Dear all,

I have the same problem, but after I entered my code the caller was transferred to the voicemail! Could you please check if this is a bug? Thanks.

It is annoying that with the Dell Voice app running in the background on the iphone, when there is an incoming call, first one has to unlock the phone (swipe and passcode), then the DV app will wake up. It will login automatically login again. At this point, one has to click the Answer button to answer the call. So I changed the ring setting to 8 or 12 rings to allow enough time to go through these redundant login process. The point is, if someone is calling you, in about 5 rings people would hangup instead.

I would be nice if the app developer could make changes to the login process in the next version upgrade. Thank-you.
