call quality on data vs wifi or in general

hello i was wondering how the calling quality is on the dell voice, i will be using a google nexus s or samsung nexus s or w.e its called. anyways i just wanted to know if the call sounds clear on both wifi and 3g, i want to know if the person on the other end can tell that you are using an internet phone. i really want to take advantage of this service but wondering if it is reliable in sound quality. does anyone experience echo and static or delay. i know at times it happens with internet stuff. i have a magic jack in canada where i live and the call quality is very good. so i should have high hopes that dell voice should give me the same or if not better sound quality on a mobile device or even in general from my magic jack.

I have never had a problem with sound quality. I like you was very worried about it when I first picked up voip, but I call back to the UK often and the call quality is MUCH better over voip than some of the calling cards I was using.

I think you would have a very hard time distinguishing between a call over voip, and a normal POTS call, unless you have a very tuned ear

The good thing about Fongo/DV is it is free. So try it out - if you don't like it you have have lost nothing but a bit of your time. I've been more than happy with it for several years now.

Dell Voice/Fongo is only as good as your internet connection. If you are happy with the quality of Magic Jack on your internet connection, you should also be satisfied with Dell Voice/Fongo
