'Account Balance Insufficient to Place Call to Destination'

Ok, I am located in Toronto but using Dell Voice on my iPhone 4, I have an Edmonton number from Dell Voice that I can call to my friend in Edmonton who has a iPhone 3G. I call from Dell Voice to her traditional phone number from Fido. She's usually in the Edmonton area, specifically in West Edmonton Mall which is a great location for Dell Voice calling. However, every time I call her through Dell Voice, it gives me a message saying "Account Balance is Insuffient to Place your call to that Destination". From what I understand, you only pay for calls outside Canada and so I shouldn't get this message for account balances. Can someone please explain to me why I am getting this message? Really frustrating.... Someone please help.

Hi synjerome, can you please PM me the number you are trying to reach? No at all numbers in Canada are free although Edmonton is in the free calling zone and i would like to check out the number.
