fongo or freephoneline?

Post by jqian »

I just purchased sip unlocked key from www.dellvoice.ca for $50+tax. Everything looks good so far.
I can see SIP settings with Inbound/Outbound Proxy: sip.fongo.com

However, the email I got was from noreply@freephoneline.ca, and the it told me realm is: voip.freephoneline.ca

so what on earth is it supposed to be?

This kind of inconsistency makes me feel very uneasy about the quality of ongoing service.

Firstly, the answer is Fongo.

Lastly, as posted here we've indicated that during the duration of our name transition you may see both names. I can assure you that while we make the necessary changes, we do so in a way where we may minimize the impact on our customers.

I apologize for the confusion, however can assure you that the transition will have no impact on the quality of services we provide.

Stick with sip.fongo.com and you will be fine.
I have been using their systems and DSL for a long time now. There is nothing to be uneasy about.
