Cannot Call Local 226-312-xxxx

Hello ... I've been trying to call a 226-312-xxxx, but I keep getting the message "You have insufficient funds to make that call" (or something along that line). I know that it is a local number, because it is someone I know that lives in town. Not sure if it makes a different, but he is also using VoIP. I can call that number from my cell phone, with no problem.

This brings up a follow up question regarding local areas.

If I live in Gravenhurst, (705-687) which is listed in the network, but neighbour to the north Bracebridge (705-645) is not. Typically Gravenhurst to Bracebridge is a local call, does that mean I can call Bracebridge because Gravenhurst is in the network?

For some reason our auto update is doing something wonky on this one after I fix it. Corrected again and sent this one through to the developers for deeper investigation.

I too have an issue with a local call. I tried to call the help line but the person did not understand what I was talking about. She told me that this number is not free. My friend lives 20 mins away and everyone elses number seems to work but hers. Here in BC its a choice of 604, 778, or 250. She has a 604 number which is the most common number here. Strange.

Strange... I am having similar issues with local calls. A friend living 20 mins away and I can not call her without paying. she also has a very common 604 number for BC. Call center stated simply it was not free but they did not know why and I guess thats that.

Strange.
Like the program though and appreciate the service it does provide when it works.
