IOS App Notification
Dear,
When I started using Dell Voice a few days ago I was able to receive calls while the iPhone app was totally closed. When somebody called me I received a notification on the screen, if I followed the onscreen instructions, the app was started and I could take the call. I tried again this evening but it seems it's not working anymore and I need to open the app in order to receive a call.
Is someone having the same issues?
Thanks upfront.

How to receive a call 24 hours a day?
I have the same problem with my iPod Touch (4th generation). I can only receive a call if I'm viewing the Dell Voice app, not if I clicked on the Home button or using another app or if the display has dimmed.
How can I receive a call 24 hours a day on the iPod Touch and PC? Do I need to autorun Dell Voice whenever I turn on my PC then leave both on all the time?

Re: IOS App Notification
You can't use you pc and iPod at the same time. You are only allowed to register one device at a time. So if you start your iPod, then turn on the pc it will steal th registration from the iPod. The iPod will then probably try and re register and steal registration from the pc, which will then try and re register.
The long and short of this is you might be confusing the system by trying to use bothat the same time, which is why your iPod might not be ringing.

Hi Touch4gen,
You can't use an Apple device and your pc at the same time. This seems to be an Apple policy. It's either your iPod or your PC.
My problem is more related to the timing which Dell Voice need in order to send me a notification informing me about an incoming call. This should be done within the first second otherwise I will probably miss the call. However, when the app is open I don't have any trouble with the delay. But if I leave the app open it will consume a lot of battery.

Re: IOS App Notification
My iPod problem is even if I just switch from the Dell Voice app to go to the Home screen or another app, it does not ring. I did not have Dell Voice running on my PC. The only time my iPod can receive a call is when I'm viewing the Dell Voice app. So right now, it's only good for outgoing calls.

Re: IOS App Notification
I have exactly the same issue on iphone 4s (5.0.1)
when I first installed dellvoice, I was able to get push notification to receive calls. Now after last update, it no longer send push notifications, so I can't receive calls.
and today, I can't connect either, keep getting Fongo connection failed ( no matter I use wifi or 3G)

Re: IOS App Notification
Does anybody know how to fix the iPod problem of not being able to receive calls unless I am viewing the Dell Voice app? I have changed all the Notification settings for DV to on, i.e., Badge App Icon, Sounds, and View in Lock Screen. Does it matter if I registered with the same email address, first through my iPod then got a second number through my PC?
