VoIP unlock, Freephonca, and a single account?

Post by albertkun »

Hello Fongo and Fongo users, I came across the VoIP unlock option with Freephoneca.

I want to know is it possible to use my phone number and have the service on my homephone as well?

Essentially, can I use the VoIP unlock and freephoneca work with just one account? This would be ideal, as I would be able to use the VoIP unlock without getting 2 different phone numbers.

Thanks for reading my message and I appreciate your responses!

Not directly. You would need to use a service like pbxes.org or sip sorcery to control the freephoneline trunks, and then route the call to multiple devices.

You get 2 outgoing channels, and only one incoming channel for each freephoneline SIP setting you purchase.

Are you sure that it's only one incoming? Call waiting would require 2. It's probably 2 in and 2 out.

Does that mean I can forward an incoming call to another number?

That's easy... Just set up call forwarding from the website. Many people do this to get a phone number in a different city. You can only do it once though, as the forward number can only be used by one account.
