Payment error: 'Merchant Override Decline'

Hello.

I've tried to buy VoIP unlock key, but always get this message
Error: PaymenTech error: Transaction error: 'Merchant Override Decline'

Payment is RBC Mastercard. I tried to make this purchase several times both with my card and with my husband's card, and I always get this error.

Now I have several questions:
- What is going wrong?
- How many payments are going to be proceeded? Zero, one or many? (I tried to pay several times - all ended with this error message).
- Is there any successful way to pay for VoIP unlock key?


*** Looks like I've created topic in wrong section. I try to pay for Freephoneline.ca, not for Dell Voice. :oops:

I tried once more and got a message "Error: Maximum attempts reached."

Call in and buy the config file over the phone. I did this before they had the online payment thing without any problems. Atleast if it declined again they might be able to tell you more why.

If you are receiving that error then your credit card is being declined - we wouldn't be able to charge you. The maximum number of attempts reached is a safety feature we put in place to prevent any sort of abuse or fraud.

Your best bet will be to give us a call and order over the phone - the rep may have more insight into what is/was causing the failure.

I've tried again another day and payment is successful in first try.

Payment processing system may have been CRANKY the other day ... glad that you had success the first time out THE SECOND TIME AROUND! :-)
