Account Registration - New Number - City not listed

Hi!

I am actually stuck at the registration screen asking me to choose

Account Registration
Choose Your New Number

I selected Quebec as my province
but my city of Sherbrooke does not shows in the list.

What can I do ?

Were you trying to register for Freephoneline or DellVoice? I assume they use the same number stock but that may not be the case so try the other as the service is similar.
I gather that Fongo have had a large demand for numbers and have run out in some areas or they are simply not available for your area (like mine St. John's, NL). The Dell number that I have is for Montreal. You could choose a number for another area (might be closer than the one I had to choose!) and then get another if your area becomes available. I have a local number from another source that is not at all expensive.

I was trying to register on DellVoice ... So you mean, I will have to select a number from Montreal (area 514) instead of my City of Sherbrooke which is in the 819 area code? It is special to have Sherbrooke listed in Top Cities but not available to get a number.

Fongo does not have numbers in the Sherbrooke area by the looks of it - at least I can't remember seeing it on the list. You will have to pick a number that is close to it.

Even though you may be able to call there for free, they don't have numbers you can pick in every area.

The "Top cities" are places you can call for FREE, not places that offer DID numbers ... unfortunately.

There is a bit of confusion in the way that they have things worded, you are not the first to come across that. While there (currently) are no Sherbrooke #'s available, the following QC cities do have #'s --- I don't think any of them are a local call to Sherbrooke though:
HULL
ILE PERROT
LACHINE
MONTREAL
POINTE CLAIRE
QUEBEC CITY
ROXBORO
STE GENEVIEVE

You can always post asking if they can consider Sherbrooke for future expansion. There are claims that they are expanding -- make your voice heard -- never know!
