I'll need the expertise of a seasond user on this one from either the support group or the community.
I currently have a LinkSys PAP2T and have utilized the forum on instruction from the support team to configure the unit with the SIP unlock file. All was working fine with my original number supplied by FreePhoneline, I tested it for about a month with that number before considering the porting of my current Rogers phone number. I believed that the system worked to my satisfaction so, i had them port my Rogers number over. All works with the exception of this anomaly:
I can make and receive calls without issue, i can hear the other person but they cannot hear me. I called support and they instructed me to have the Internet provider open ports on te router. I had issue with this because all was working prior to the porting so, I would imagine that the port weren't the issue.
I have sent a note to support post the input from the first support person I spoke to in person and they had done changes on their end and asked me to test but no luck, still having the issue same issue. I have resorted to setting up a Dell Voice account and forwarding the calls to that number and setting up the Dell Voice app on an IPad and retrieving calls through it. No issues when doing the forwarding but defeats the whole purpose of porting my original number over.
I have checked and doube checked all the configurations for the unit so, I am at a loss at this point and need input from the community to solve unless the support group has further expertise to offer.

Re: PAP2T- FreePhoneline Caller Can't hear my audio
It seems that you you may not have configured the ports on the router/ATA correctly and the required voice packets are not correctly arriving at their destination. If this is the case, lots of this will cause calls to work one time and not the next. Disconnect everything from the router (ATA computers etc). Power down the router and the ATA.... wait 5 minutes...then power up the router. Plug the ATA back into the router and power it up. When the ATA has connected try another call.
Are you calling a normal land line phone or another voip phone?

Re: PAP2T- FreePhoneline Caller Can't hear my audio
Well dibsmft, as quick as it disappeared, this morning I checked it and low and behold, it's working! Thanks for the quick reply and I did read about your comment being a probable cause for the issue but because it was working correctly in all scenarios i.e. VoIP, land line and cell line it was not a the forefront of my mind. Having this issue has made me very aware of the user groups and the value they provide. Really appreciate the feedback and hope that you can assist in future issues, not that I would like any more at the moment.
