hi,
so all i want to do is get a free voicemail because my provider charges ridiculous amount just for added voicemail feature.
so i followed this guide : http://quacktacular.net/2011/06/free-vi ... in-canada/
and it works.
HOWEVER, i need to have that program running on my computer.
if i close it or turn the computer off, nothing will work.
so my simple question is... do i need to have that freephoneline software running 24/7, 365 days a year to keep my voicemail working?
confused.. do i need to keep freephoneline software open?

Hi dlxowhd,
The simple answer is no. Regardless of if you are logged in or not, your voice mail will still pick up. you also have the option of forwarding your cal and setting up to send an email copy of all voice mails directly to your email account.
