Outbound busy signal and incoming calls incompl.. (resolved)

Anyone having an issue with Fongo/ATA service at the moment? If I try to make an outbound call it's silent and then busy. Others calling me rings our phone but when I pick up I can't hear anything and the other party continues to ring until voicemail picks up. Is there a service outage?

Run a STUN server on the H287 and it may then work OK.

It was all working without issue (months) until sometime today and there are no Internet issues. Why would I need a STUN server and what would it do?

I had the same issues, even restarted router and ATA, Something definitely went wrong.

Inbound and outbound are working now...not that I did anything to fix it...

Same problem here as well, incoming either goes straight to voicemail or rings continuously on the remote end even when I pick up on my end.
Just silence on the receiving phone.

Yes it's 5:43pm been down for a while now and calling an 800 numbers the call hangs up with dial tone. anything else is not connecting

Of course I just try again and it's connecting?

Looks like your problems were with the network or the FPL servers.

it looks like intermittent problem that still exists ( as I'm in QC it most probably is server side )

had the same problem, constant audio cuts when recieving a call and then it would drop the call, all of my outbound calls were giving me a busy signal. was happening all day today, so i came home at 10pm and i restarted all of my equiptment and it seems ok now..

Problem here in Ottawa as well - dropped calls, people getting busy signals when calling me (started yesterday May 24th). This morning a dropped call while talking to parents. Now they get a busy signal when calling - I have a dial tone but when I dial out it is just dead air and no ring on other side (tried calling my cell). Very frustrating and a wife who is angry . It is intermittent as it seems to come back to life, then die again.

Please fix soon FPL.

If you are still having problems beyond early evening last night then it would not be related to the trouble that was experienced in some regions late in the afternoon yesterday. Please open a separate thread and/or contact our support team so we can troubleshoot your issue individually.

this past week everything seems back to normal.
