When I call out, I can hear other people's sounds but other people told me that my sound was too small/light.
How to increase the outcoming sounds?
I use Linksys ata pap2t. Thanks a million!

Re: How to increase outcoming sounds?
From what you say the persons that you called were able to hear you it was just that the sound volume was too low? If you look at the configuration web page for the PAP2 (see manual) you should find adjustments for the incoming and outgoing audio levels. You should be able to increase the input level there but don't overdo it or you will get echo!

Re: How to increase outcoming sounds?
Many thanks for your reply. Yes, it was just that sound volume was too low. I looked at the configuration web page and manual but I don't know which one I should adjust. Does it change the "Silence Threshold" from "medium" to "low" or "high"? All "Audio Configuration" are as below. Thanks a lot!

Audio Configuration
Preferred Codec: Silence Supp Enable:

Re: How to increase outcoming sounds?
Login in as admin, and click on the advanced view. Look on the 'regional' tab. Right at the bottom in the Misc' section there is FXS Port Input Gain and FXS Port Output Gain. Try changing those and see if that helps. The default should be -3 so go mad and try it as 5
You will probably find it far too high and it will probably produce echo, but it will give you another point to start from.

Re: How to increase outcoming sounds?
Jake is correct, at least for the SPA3201 but I am not sure about the PAP2. For my SPA3102 the settings that I arrived at (and the input volume is a little higher that I would prefer to hear myself but many of the b people that I call are somewhat hearing impaired) are
FXS Port Input Gain: 3 FXS Port Output Gain: -3
That works OK and does not give echo.
