Hi I'm thinking of buying FPL ATA device however I have Telus Wifi and the router and modem are in utility room in basement.
What would be the best way to set this system up if at all in my home. I'm not very techie so if you can keep explanation very simple I'm very new to this.
One other thing I rent the basement out so going up and down every day won't work.
Below are pics of my current setup

Re: Wifi and FPL ATA
nice picture, shame is is so useless to me. A model number would be much more helpful to see what I am dealing with.
I do not see an ethernet port. Does it exist?
the most problem free solution is to put the ATA near the modem and cordless phone downstairs and use the satellite phones upstairs. There are other solutions, but they require some technical skill.

Re: Wifi and FPL ATA
I assume that you have ethernet ports upstairs to plug in computer(s) as your router appears to have ethernet wiring going somewhere. If you have an ATA with a built in router such as the SPA3102 or something more modern you can simply plug the computer into the ATA router port and the ATA into the ethernet port that the computer used. Ideally the ATA should be near the centre of the house to give best coverage for the cordless phones.

Re: Help with Telus Wifi
It appears your phone line comes to modem/router combo, then uses COAX cable to distribute network.
Depending on what is plugged at the other end of COAX, you can either plug ATA to the modem/router directly to one of those yellow Ethernet ports or use COAX connection you have upstairs (if you have like a hub to split that COAX).
