Cant call Toronto (area code) 312

Hi,

I tried calling a phone number in Toronto but it says when calling that number....
"your account balance has insufficient funds to place this call" ?

Can somebody fix this issue or add this Canadian area code.

the number you listed is not a toronto number, it is a chicago number. as such, it is not a free call to that destination.

I 2nd what Mike said ... TO is 416 & 647 (& soon to be 437) .... Southern Ontario codes are 905, 289 & soon to be 365 ...

312 is most definitely Chico, IL ... the Windy City ... not Big Smoke.

Eh, it happens. I spotted the 312 right away, but I have been dealing with area codes for MANY MANY years ... could it have been someone IN Toronto with a Chicago cell that you were attempting to call perhaps? <nudge nudge wink wink> ...

Yes I was trying to get a hold of some 3rd party at that associated phone number. They must of forgotten to mention of it being a usa number or it could be old age catching up, it's hard to remember who I was actually trying to call.
