Is it just me, or has the FONGO website been updated to remove the direct link to the forums from the header/banner, and also from the footer??
I could have sworn that there used to be a direct link ...
Was this done intentionally, or unintentionally??

Re: Forums missing from website
I checked before posting and it is still there where I saw it the last time which was yesterday
On my office XP
computer, it is in the row of "Get in Touch". There is nothing in the header or footer...so yeah, you are right!

Ahhh, halfway down the page --- it used to be in a link near the top when I last perused the site ... goes to show you only look where you are expecting.cu2o2o2 wrote: it is in the row of "Get in Touch". There is nothing in the header or footer...so yeah, you are right!

The link to the forums via the Fongo website is near the top of the FAQ section of the website.TheHardy wrote:Is it just me, or has the FONGO website been updated to remove the direct link to the forums from the header/banner, and also from the footer??

Correct, but only if direct link in the OP's context means clicking TWO (2) links to get to your page!FONGO_mike wrote: The link to the forums via the Fongo website is near the top of the FAQ section of the website.

Re: Forums missing from website
I did notice the underlined link there ...FONGO_mike wrote:The link to the forums via the Fongo website is near the top of the FAQ section of the website.
My initial concern was that I seemed to remember that the Fongo site, like the FPL site, had a more "distinct" FORUM button, which I thought was in the top header (and/or bottom footer) of the web navigation bars ... however, as was pointed out to me, it is a semi-disguised button near the "get in touch" section near the middle of the mainpage, sort of hard to spot unless you are looking for it.
I had initially thought that the FORUMS just got demoted a bit and taken somewhat out of the spotlight ... and I had also thought that this might have been due to the badpress that Fongo has received lately for outages, software issues etc ...
Alas, my conspiracy theories seem to be unwarranted and my recollection faulty, as it is smack dab there in the middle of the page...

Re: Forums missing from website
Yes your right.
When I go to www.freephoneline.ca I can see the link to the forum. But when I sign in it disappear. So every time I want to go to the forum I need to signout.

Disappearing link
THAT I was not aware of ... if that is indeed happening, perhaps the next website makeover can address that fact ...
