Best Router for VOIP

I used a D-Link DIR 625, and D-Link DIR 655

Here's why I like it:

I have used it with several different ATA's such as Handy tone 496 and 486,HT 502 Linksys PAP2T,spa 2102 and Wrtp 54g with 2 VOIP line.

*All used behind the router.
*Sometimes more than two ATA's connected to router simultaneously, connected to two different VoIP providers.
*NEVER any problems.
*Used with various VoIP providers such as voip buster, CallCentric, FPL , Inphonex, Vbuzzer and BrainTel.

*I have NEVER had to do ANY port forwarding, DMZ, or any other contortions.
When I read about people needing to do these things, I scratch my head in wonderment.

I'll also put a vouch in for the D-Link DGL-4300 GamerLounge Wireless G Gigabit router.
I have another router piggy backed onto this router which I run all my VOIP/personal computers through and I have never once had to change anything in the router to get it working.
I plugged the ATA in and the router was good enough quality to direct network traffic accordingly without needing to port forward/DMZ.

however watch out with cheaper D-Link routers as they do not preserve source ports when you forward!!!

Linksys spa-3102 worked without glitch for more than 3 years now...
Received the FPL settings, entered them in my ATA... everything works like a charm.

6-7 of my friends bought the same ATA and have no problems with it.

I completely agree, besides my newest VoIP router the Thomson 784 which I use for home phone as well as hosting a media server on my local network as well as a private FTP connection, the SPA-3102 is a fantastic router, without getting into the ridiculous price range!
