Good morning,
New user here so be gentle . I did do a search and couldn't find any posts in regards to this issue so here we go:
Every couple of days I get the following e-mail:
"Mailbox my phone number@en is more than 75% full, please delete unnecessary messages.
--
UM notifier"
I never keep very many messages and when I got the last e-mail - June 2nd - I only had 1 saved voice message. Is there a specific limit or what gives? Using FPL.
TIA,
Carlos
Can you PM me your number? I'd like to look into this. If you only have one message saved then you certainly aren't anywhere near capacity I'd like to check and make sure that old messages are deleting properly, etc.

Doesn't appear to have any relation - it's looking to be a one-off issue (i.e. nothing global that we can see). The OPs account is being looked into by the higher ups to see what's causing the rogue voicemail usage

Just so you know I was having the re-appearing voice mail issue as well!
FYI,

Mike: this was a different issue, with the OP getting a warning that his VMB was more than 75% full -- it was MYSELF that was wondering if there was a connection to the re-occuring VM issue -- no the OP. OP had a different problem that Steve was going to be looking into ...

I have been having the same problem with the voicemail being full. I get the email every other day saying:
Mailbox MYNUMBER@en is more than 75% full, please delete unnecessary messages.

Problems: People can only leave one voicemail and only at a 8 second record maximum then it will boot them off saying this voicemail is full please try later etc... after that anyone who phones will not be able to leave any voicemail as it will state this voicemail box is full etc...
The strange thing is nobody else I know who uses FPL has this problem. I have contacted tech support 3 times regarding this issue and they just keep telling me they will open a ticket and escalate this problem. However nothing ever gets fixed and they never call me back like they promise to do. So now I am here on these forums at least happy to see I am not the only FPL member with this problem. I really hope there is a solution for this problem. I also wish we could just disable voicemail completely. This way I could use an old school answering machine. Tech support said this was not possible and only to set the rings higher etc. etc...
If anyone know how to fix this problem please let me know as I am desperate over here

Very true Hardy, i was simply commenting on the re-appearing voicemail he mentioned, not the vm 75% full.

Hi Neil, can you give me the phone number the account through PM please?

Neil & Carlos --- PM Mike or Steve with your account # and DO NOT DELETE the Vmail ... Mike also has an email link on his profile, feel free to forward a copy of the notification EMAIL to him directly also, including the header information (if possible) so that it can assist him in tracking down the problem.
For this issue, you are probably best to deal with Mike or Steve directly, as calling Customer Support may confuse things, seeing this is a more technical type of problem....

No one should be getting the voicemail is full anymore when nothing is there. We are still working on the repeating voice messages.

Not that it happened to me, but the OP said it was with 1 msg in their VMB ... not NOTHING ... is that what you meant (just mis-typed/mis-spoke), or could this still be an issue for some users?
Thanks for the "update" on the other issue, even tho it is not a conclusion, at least we know it is being worked on!

I hate to say this but the last two days I have started having the exact same problem with the voicemail. I have two emails now with the same "Mailbox is more than 75% full" and it tells people the voicemail is full. If I delete all of the 2 messages it will allow for more but it will cut the person off within about 10 seconds of recording time.
Everything was working perfect for a bit and I got a call from the a Tech who said it was fixed (which by the way was nice service). But now it is back to normal.

Thanks for the heads up. I have now changed my setting to Forward all voicemails to our cellphones, previously they were set to Copy. I don't really open my voicemails from the online account, so I'm just fine with Forward.

Seeing it has resurfaced, I would PM both Steve and Mike again, let them know your account number, and have them look into it from their end. I think Steve did say to let him know if it resurfaced ... so deal with the two folks in here from Fongo that already have a history of knowing what this is all about. That would be my best suggestion to you at this time!

Seems to be an isolated problem -- I get lots of VM's and have not had this issue YET ... it seems to be non-discriminatory, but also not wide spread ... ATM!
