Please note that we will be performing some core network maintenance and upgrades on June 26th, 2012 between the hour of 02:00-03:00 AM EST.

During this time there is a possibility that calling services, device registration and voicemail may encounter brief interruptions.

This should be the last of our possibly service affecting maintenance for a while - we know there's been a few of these over the last week and we thank everyone who happens to be up at the wee hours of the morning and may have noticed any impact on their services during this hour.

If it helps to keep things running or to make things better, I'm sure no one minds the updates - especially when they don't effect anyone.

I know there has been a couple of upgrades that resulted in someone leaving a HUGE spanner in the works, but those have got fixed pretty quickly.

Oh wait ... I think this update has already caused the CID not to work in the FPL softphone 3.0.3.0 and is also causing the MWI not to function properly ....

Here (in Montreal) it is 05:43 AM, and I am getting: "Registration State: Can't connect to login server" from my Linksys PAP2, eventhough, on my freephoneline.ca main page, it says: "Registered" ...
Please, tell us what is going on, and how long it will last ...

Here in Windsor is 6:10 and still no service. Hope won't last long. I know updates are a b...h, but FPL manages to fix it. I love the service. Very good international long distance. Thank you guys.

Van-BC, mine was down before, would not even load the softphone (claimed it had no ISP connection). Able to load softphone, takes a VERY long time to register, but it does ... I think the reg servers are just very slowly coming back online. The update/upgrade seems to have taken a bit longer than planned ... (as usually happens).

I doubt an update until regular staff arrive and can post, I doubt the guys swinging wrenches (Spanners for you JAKE!) and running the oxy-acetalyne torch will post updates!!

I have received word that some areas are still experiencing some intermittent connectivity issues after the maintenance last night. This is not affecting all users but is affecting some. We expect this to be resolved very shortly. I will update once I hear something.
