I lived in Mississauga, ON and I registered with Fongo and ported my home number (fr. Rogers) to Fongo at the same time (BIG MISTAKE!!!). The porting completed on July 18 and I am still can not be able to use my home phone. It has been a few days and I called Fongo tech support 1 or twice everyday since. Every times I was told to do with different stuffs. My phone is still not working.
It is a mistake to port my number over at the same time registered with Fongo. Now, we have no home phone services at all. The dial tone is always there (even before July 18). I powered on/off my router, modem, ATA but still not working. When someone call, my homephone ring. But can’t hear anything when I picked it up. I called Fongo and escalated but no one called back (They did called back on July 17 which is my homephone was still with Rogers and was working fine. So, my wife said: “it is working fine.” So they closed the ticket. And they kept reminded me that everything was working fine.)
Tech support are very kind. But they could not help and they did not give me a ticket number. Please help me! We have a 5 weeks old baby. I need it fix or I’ll have to port back to Rogers.
