My voice mail is not working. When I click the voicemail in the desktop program, it asks me for account number and then says it's an invalid number. Also, when I go to my account in the website and click on the voicemail setting it says: "Error occurred while loading data from server." BY the way, I enabled the "Follow Me Status."
I don't know what to do now, any suggestion?
I tried searching in the forum posts and found many ppl with the same question. to my big surprise, there is no solution to anyone's problem.

Re: voicemail setup problem
Hi Zenna,
Usually, when getting the messege invalid number after typing in your number, it is caused by not adding the 1 before the area code.
For the "Error occurred while loading data from server" are you logging in from your computers browser or your phones browser?

Re: voicemail setup problem
From reading the post, I am going to guess COMPUTER as zenna mentions "desktop program" in the first paragraph. Just an assumption.
Zenna, as Mike correctly points out, account numbers are all 11-digits, that means that you need to use the leading 1 .... so 1-npa-nxx-yyyy is your FULL Fongo phone numberand also your account number ... Does this help you other problem?

This has come up before.zenna wrote: I tried searching in the forum posts and found many ppl with the same question. to my big surprise, there is no solution to anyone's problem.
One fix was to call in and check with a CSR that your account has been set up properly.
Another member reported that it fixed itself the following day.
Call into a CSR (611 from the DV phone) and tell them you are having problems gaining access to your voice mail and can they check everything is set up right.

Re: voicemail setup problem
Thanks to all above. The problem was fixed automatically today. It seems several hours needed to configure it at the server side.Jake wrote:This has come up before.zenna wrote: I tried searching in the forum posts and found many ppl with the same question. to my big surprise, there is no solution to anyone's problem.

Re: voicemail setup problem
Glad it got resolved. Did you have to do anything at all, or it magically started to work? Maybe something server-side was "stuck" and one of the techs in reading the forum, "snaked the drain" and got it going without you having to do anything ... any further issues to report or is it all clear sailing now?zenna wrote:Thanks to all above.
