Sounds like a telemarketer. Are you on the Do Not Call list? If you are then I would suggest filing a complaint with the CRTC.

i was under the impression that a PFL line was to be use as specify in:
Customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in this Freephoneline Service Schedule as well as the Fongo Master Services Agreement
5. USE OF THE SERVICE
i.Acceptable Use Policy
The Customer may make use of the Services solely for his/her own personal, residential use.

Steve, I think the point is that 514-447 is a Fibernetics number, and that it might be being abused.

If it's not spoofed then it is definitely TOS violation.

I just want to jump in and remind everyone that Fongo's parent, Fibernetics, provides BUSINESS phone services --- and it is because of Fibernetics services that the can afford the loss-leader of FPL in the first place.

I would think that all Steve may be able to do is check if the SPECIFIC # above may be an FPL issued Fibernetics number, or whether it is a Fibernetics issued number, but that is probably all the assistance that can be rendered here.

Short of filing an official complaint with the local or federal authorities about fraudulent/harassing activity (as the case may be), there is nothing really do be done short of '/ignore' or 'route dev null' .....
